ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOX)  -- Falling influenza numbers reported earlier this week in St. Louis County are being seen as well in St. Charles County.

St. Charles County Health Department spokesman Cameron Satterfield says so far for the season -- there have been 2011 influenza cases, but for the third week in a row, new cases are dropping.

"We had 130 new cases last week, compared to 178 the previous week and we had 285 new cases for the week ending Nov. 2," said Satterfield. "So, we've seen it steadily drop over the last three weeks and we hope that the trend continues."

All day this Saturday, there will be another public H1 N1 vaccination clinic at the Stegton Conference Center -- for people on the CDC's high priority list -- especially pregnant women -- since many of the 800 doses on hand are the preservative free type (info on clinic, click here).
