Flight destined for St. Louis makes emergency landing in Albuquerque

ST. LOUIS (KMOX)  -- US Airways flight 156 destined for Lambert Airport in St. Louis had to make an emergency landing in Albuquerque, New Mexico Friday afternoon.

Daniel Jiron, spokesman for the Albuquerque International Sunport airport explains that pilots onboard the Airbus A-319 reported to the tower that they had an issue with the windshield, either a cracked or shattered windshield.

Jiron says all 113 passengers and five crew members are fine and plans are underway to determine how they will get to their original destinations. The flight originated in San Jose and made one stop in Phoenix before the emergency landing in Albuquerque.
