St. Louis (KMOX)  -- St. Louis police are looking for a woman who they call a person of interest in connection with that newborn baby found in a Central West End dumpster. Chief of Detectives, Lt. Col. Roy Joachimstaler says shortly after the baby was found , two metro link employees encountered a woman in distress on the DeBaliviere Station platform. the detective says the employees also indicated the woman appeared to have blood on her jacket. He says what makes this woman a person of interest is the time line, the location of the encounter and what she told the metro employees. Lt. Col. Joachimstaler says another red flag was that the woman left the Debaliviere platform without taking the train. the woman is a black female in her twenties, last wearing a white jacket and a head band. Anyone with information should call police at 314 444 5817 or Crimestoppers at 866 371 TIPS.  Police say the baby remains in good condition.
