Kirkwood Police are looking for a man they say is armed and dangerous.

Shawn Williams -- also known as Shawn Fields -- is wanted for second degree assault and armed criminal action.

Police says Williams was involved in an assault August 9th where he showed a weapon.  It wasn't fired... but the victim was injured.  Investigators say he has outstanding warrants in other parts of Missouri and has fled from parole.

Williams is described as a black male with a shaved head.  He has a recent gunshot wound in his right bicep and upper lip. 

Police says he shoudn't be approached.  Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Kirkwood Police Department at 314-822-5858.
