The suspect involved in Sunday's deadly hit and run near a diner in South St. Louis County has been charged. The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's office issues warrants against 28 year old Courtney Cooper for Involuntary Manslaughter and Felony Leaving the Scene of an accident. Police say Valley Park resident Timothy Kreidler and St. Louis resident David Ditzler were about to turn right into a diner in the 31-hundred block of S. Kingshighway when Cooper tried to pass the victim's vehicle on the right and struck their SUV....both vehicles partially left the roadway and flipped onto their sides. Police say patrons of the diner helped get Kriedler and Ditzler out of their vehicle.. Cooper reportedly kicked the front windshield out of his vehicle and ran from the scene on foot. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
