The Rams selected WR Donnie Avery out of Houston with their 2nd round pick.
Avery is known as a speedster who possesses explosive speed and outstanding run-after-the-catch ability. The Rams say his 40-yard dash time is in the low 4.3's. He had 91 catches for 1,456 yards and 7 touchdowns during the 2007 season.
