Obama wins Oregon and now has majority of the pledged delegates

WASHINGTON (AP) __ Barack Obama has hit his delegate milestone. The Illinois senator has amassed a majority of the pledged delegates at stake in the primaries and caucuses. According to an Associated Press analysis, Hillary Rodham Clinton has won at least 47 delegates in Kentucky and Oregon and Obama has won at least 32. All 51 delegates from Kentucky were awarded but there are still 24 of 52 to be allocated in Oregon. Obama has won 1,642.5 pledged delegates in primaries and caucuses, surpassing the 1,627 needed to claim a majority. Three primaries remain. He has an overall total of 1,949 delegates, including superdelegates. Clinton has 1,769 with just three primaries left.
