Chris Kerber
Radio Play-by-Play
Prior to joining the Blues, Chris Kerber spent four seasons calling the action for the Springfield Falcons in the American Hockey League. In addition to his play-by-play and host duties for the Falcons, he acted as the team’s director of media relations from 1996 to 1999 and was promoted to director of marketing and communications for the 1999-2000 season.
A 1994 graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Kerber did play-by-play for the men’s hockey team on WMSR, the student radio station. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Kerber handled the play-by-play and PR duties for two seasons for the Birmingham Bulls of the East Coast Hockey League before joining Springfield.
In addition to calling all the regular-season and post-season games, Kerber will continue to host pre-game, intermissions and the Andy Murray Show on KMOX.
Kelly Chase
Radio Analyst
Kelly Chase brings an interesting mix of insight and analysis to the booth along with fellow broadcaster Chris Kerber.
Chase played 12-years in the NHL, which included eight years as a member of the Blues. He finished his career with 458 games played, 17 goals, 36 assists and 53 career points. Chase ranks second on the Blues’ all-time penalty-minute list with 1,497 minutes and finished his career with 2,017 total penalty minutes.
In addition to serving as the Blues radio analyst, Chase will participate on the Blues post game show following all regular season home games. The broadcast will be broadcast from 14th & Clark within the Scottrade Center. |
