Keep Cool When It's Hot

jbchoat@cbs.com

St. Louis (KMOX News)  -- It's expected to be the hottest day of the summer so far. St. Louisans can look forward to a high temperature Sunday in the upper 90's with a heat index around 105. A "heat advisory" will be in place for this afternoon through tomorrow. Avoid prolonged work in the sun or in poorly-ventilated areas. Drink plenty of liquids and stay in air conditioned environments whenever possible. Those needing information on St. Louis area cooling centers or energy assistance may call The United Way's "Operation Weather Survival" hotline at 1-800-427-4626.
