St. Louis (KMOX News) -- The removal of a boulder from a roadside bluff means a total shutdown on Interstate 44. Missouri Department of Transportation engineer Judy Wagner says beginning at 6am Sunday, traffic will be detoured onto a Business Loop between the Allenton and Pacific exits. MoDOT estimates it'll take about an hour to complete the "boulder blast" and cleanup.
