Deadly China Quake Felt at One Webster University Campus
Officials at Webster University are using cell phones and text messages to stay in touch with their China counterparts following the deadly earthquake. One of Webster's four campuses in China is in Sichuan’s provincial capital or Chengdu. Webster President George Neil tells KMOX News he has been in touch with the campus director there. He adds that one of their St. Louis-based professors just wrapped up a semester of teaching in Chung-do and is scheduled to return to St. Louis tomorrow morning. Neil says Al Con and his wife were in their 21st floor apartment at the time of the earthquake and felt significant shaking.
