Cards Take Tampa In A Squeaker

By R.B. FALLSTROM AP Sports Writer ST. LOUIS (AP) __ Skip Schumaker doubled with one out in the ninth inning over a drawn-in outfield, driving in the winning run and capping the St. Louis Cardinals' rally from a three-run deficit in a 5-4 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. Aaron Miles tied it with a two-run single in the eighth and Ryan Ludwick homered for the third time in two games for the Cardinals, who took two of three from the AL East leaders and wrapped up a 3-3 homestand. Rays pitchers issued 10 walks, eight in the last three innings, while losing only their second series in the last eight. It was Stan Musial Day at the ball park. Stan the Man was there to see the street in front of the stadium named in his honor. The team calls Musial its greated player. Musial already has not one, but two, statues outside the ball park.
